Important note on the subject of "Approval under building law"

The DIBT (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik) published a statement with the following content on August 16, 2016:

The European Court of Justice ECJ has issued a judgment dated 16.10.2014 (Case C-100/13) with the content that, with an appropriate transitional period of 2 years, national authorizations may no longer be used.

"For harmonized construction products with CE marking according to the Construction Products Regulation, general technical approvals or other national usability certificates, certificates of conformity and additional Ü markings are no longer possible for product performances as of 16.10.2016. For these construction products, the regulations on Ü-marking will no longer be enforced. A corresponding official announcement of the DIBT will follow.

The assessment and test results on which the general technical approvals are based can be used as qualified technical documentation for the assessment of usability until new findings are available."

Nevertheless, we have provided our approvals in the download area as a guide. However, the corresponding CE documents are currently valid. Please take this information into account when checking your usability.
