Roof renovation of the power plant AKW-Obrigheim of EnBW
PURelastik - the liquid plastic for flat roofs
We show flat roof waterproofing with PURelastik liquid plastic and fleece in full reinforcement using the example of a roof system on EnBW's nuclear power plant in Obrigheim. The pictures do not require any special explanations.
The services provided here are standard: an existing bitumen roof was cleaned with pressurized water in the first step. In the second step, all penetrations as well as the roof edge and wall connections of adjacent buildings were made
PURelastik liquid plastic was used here to produce a seamless and jointless film directly on the roof. When the roof is carefully cleaned, the PURelastik liquid plastic forms a strong bond with the substrate everywhere. This also prevents moisture from infiltrating the film in the event of damage. PURelastik is elastic. This product was originally developed more than 20 years ago as UV protection for polyurethane (PUR) roofing foam. Therefore, UV stability is inherent in this high-quality liquid plastic.
