Photovoltaics on flat roofs
but before that comes a flat roof renovation
Photovoltaics - converting sunlight directly into electrical energy is an interesting alternative in times of expensive fossil fuels. If a photovoltaic system is planned today, the roof serving as a support should be in a condition that no significant repairs can be expected for the next 20 years.

The evaluation of the roof system shows that the entire roof system is covered with more or less small damages. A renovation of the roof surface before the photovoltaic system can be installed is unavoidable. It is determined that the roof will be renovated with liquid plastic PURelastik in full reinforcement.

The substructure of the photovoltaic panels is to be mounted on wooden beams. For this purpose, they are fitted into the roof surface according to the plan and screwed to the substrate.

After the wooden beams have been installed on the roof, they are first laminated with PURelastik and technical fabric fleece. This homogeneously integrates the wooden beams into the flat roof and reliably seals them.

After the wooden beams have been properly sealed, the remaining roof surface is also sealed with PURelastic in full reinforcement. In the process, the fabric fleece is inserted into the still liquid plastic and ...

... is re-coated several times until the fabric fleece is completely saturated. This creates a precisely fitting film on the roof, which forms a force-fit connection with the substrate everywhere. .

The actual supporting structure is mounted on the wooden beams by means of spacers. It is clearly visible in the photo that the drainage of rainwater is not impaired by the roof superstructures.
